Which Book

I watched Ed on PBS and iimpressed! Now, I’m trying to decide which book or books I should purchase.

Which of his many book should a first read?

Thanks
Chuck

I read “Parlay Your IRA …” first. I thought I knew the ins and outs. Hah. I am in the process of applying what I have learned from Ed. I have a to do list of about 15 items. And I thought everything was on target.

“Your Complete Retirement Planning Road Map” then is a more detailed list of everything one needs to review/enact/etc for retirement and after. It also includes detailed info for your beneficiaries to follow.

Even young people should read these books who are unaware of the value of compounding and shielding investments from taxation. At least I got most of that right.

I would recommend that these two books be read in the order I have addressed them. They are the only two I have read, because that is all the bookstore had. He has written one other, but I can’t imagine that there is anything left to cover after these two. My To Do list is long enough. 🙂

Seriously, these two books have been a surprise to me. I am retired and I thought everything was copasetic. I had 3 serious flaws in my beneficiary approach, and a number of other lesser problems. I appreciate what Ed Slott has done. And, for the record, Ed is not my brother!
