Trustee to Trustee transfer from Canadian Acct to U.S. acct
Canadian citizen/US permanent resident wants to do a trustee to trustee transfer of her retirement account in Canada to a US account. Does anyone know of any issues here? Can this be done? Does it mainly depend on whether the Canadian account will do it?

No, this cannot be done. There is no portability between foreign tax deferred accounts and US tax deferred accounts.
