Beneficiary IRA in IRA Inheritance Trust

I have a client whose father died and he now has a Beneficiary IRA and a Beneficiary Roth. He is working with an Attorney who has suggested an IRA inheritance trust as he also has substantial Traditional IRA acct balances. The question that has come up is can the IRA Inheritance Trust be listed as the Primary Beneficiary of a Beneficiary IRA’s? Thank you!

If the IRA custodian will accept a trust as the successor beneficiary of the IRA, no reason why not. By “inheritance” trust, I assume the attorney is referring to any legal form of trust.
