Reverse Distributions From Inherited IRA

Are there any circumstances where a distribution from an inherited IRA for a non-spouse can be reversed? What if the custodian provided incorrect information?

No, other than the now expired opportunity to roll back amounts that would have otherwise been 2020 beneficiary RMDs. That opportunity expired 8/31.  If the custodian committed a sufficiently grevious error, the issue should be taken up with the custodian and or the custodian should be held legally responsible. If custodians are allowed to correct certain errors that were entirely their fault, the latitude the IRS allows them to act is not public information.
