CARES Act Distribution Process
Hi, I’m interested in taking a CARES Act distribution from my IRA. How do I apply for this? Please share the process and resources that will be helpful in completing this distribution.
If there are recommendations, pros, and cons that you can offer, I’d greatly appreciate that as well.

The deadline for Covid related distributions was 12/30/2020. The same provisions are available for certain federally declared physical disasters (eg recent Texas storms), but I don’t think you are asking about that.
