Notice 1036: IRS releases guidance on income tax withholding

We have begun to receive the official numbers behind the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 President Obama will sign into law likely later today.

The IRS has released Notice 1036 in regards to the 2011 withholding tables. Employers should implement these 2011 tables as soon as possible, but no later than January 31, 2011.
