1. How many sponsors are at the events?

The number of sponsors fluctuates at each event, but on average you can expect to see approximately 10 sponsors at our 2-Day IRA Workshops and 15 - 20 at the Elite IRA Advisor Group Workshops.

2. What types of companies sponsor these workshops?

Any company looking to get in front of high-level financial advisors! For a list of current sponsors, please click here.

3. Can companies share booth space? Are extra booth representatives permitted?

Companies are NOT permitted to share booth space. Only one company is permitted per booth and all representatives must be employed by that company. 2 booth representatives are included with regular and bronze sponsorships and 3 booth representatives are included with silver, gold and platinum sponsorships. You may have up to 4 booth representatives for an additional fee.

4. How much networking time is built into the events?

There is ample networking time built into all of our events. We strategically place the sponsorship booths in the break areas to maximize your exposure to the attendees. There are breaks each morning, afternoon, and during breakfast and lunch. There is also 30-minute "Meet The Sponsors" sessions built into day 1 and 2, and a cocktail reception the first evening of the Elite IRA Advisor Group Workshop.

5. Is speaking time available with any of the sponsorships?

An opportunity to address the audience is provided with all Gold-level sponsorships. Please click the Sponsorship Options tab for a list of Gold options.

6. How does Ed Slott and Company help sponsors maximize their opportunity?

We want our sponsors to get the most out of their sponsorship opportunity. We announce the sponsors frequently throughout the workshop and encourage attendees to visit sponsor booths by providing our own raffle for attendees who visit each of the sponsors over the course of the workshop. Kira Fasanella, our sponsorship coordinator, is more than happy to help you with ideas to make the most out of your sponsorship! She can be reached at 516-536-8282 or [email protected].

7. Are sponsors invited to attend the meals and other social events?

Sponsors are invited to attend breakfast and lunch. Since these are prime networking times, many sponsors prefer to stay at their booths during the meal breaks. Breakfast and lunch buffets will remain open 15 - 20 minutes after the breaks so that sponsors may enjoy their meals while the attendees are back in the general session room. At the Elite IRA Advisor Group Workshop, sponsors are invited to attend the cocktail reception the first evening of the event. The cocktail reception usually takes place in the sponsor section of the lobby. Some sponsorship options include exclusive sponsorships, such as the Master Elite Night Out. Exclusive events are only to be attended by the company that is sponsoring that function. Sponsors are not permitted to host their own functions during any Ed Slott and Company or Ed Slott and Company sponsored functions.

8. Are sponsors allowed to attend the workshop and sit in on the educational sessions?

The workshops are closed, private events for our attendees and members. Sponsors of the workshop will receive a guest pass to the 2-Day IRA Workshop that they may use either for themselves or a colleague, client, etc.

9. Do sponsors receive a list of attendees?

As a courtesy to our attendees and members, we do not provide sponsors with a list of attendees. We do, however, encourage the collection of business cards and contact information at the event by means of raffle, giveaways, etc.

10. What can sponsors bring/display for their booths?

Sponsors can bring marketing material, fliers, brochures, promotional items, posters, banners, table clothes, etc. Any giveaways should be approved by Ed Slott and Company prior to the function. Sponsors will be given a standard 6' x 30" table and 2 chairs.
