Credit Shelter Trust & 529 Plans
Can a Credit Shelter Trust set up a 529 plan? Here is situation: Surviving spouse is trustee of CST. Daughter is 50% bene; 2 Granchildren share the othe 50%. Spiuse does not neeed or want income from the CST. Could the CST set up 529 Plans for each of the GCs with their 25% each?
