custodial roth contributions

I have a client that wants to make 2019 contributions to their kids Custodial Roth IRA’s. The adult client has already filed their 2019 return, but the kids didn’t have to file their own returns for 2019. Would they still be able to make 2019 contributions until October 15th?

No, the deadline for 2019 contributions was 4/15, then extended to 7/15 by the CARES Act.
