About Ed Slott

He is a widely recognized professional speaker and has created several nationally aired public television specials including the most recent, Ed Slott’s Retirement Road Map (2016).

Ed Slott has also the created The IRA Leadership Program℠ and Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group, which were developed specifically to help financial institutions and advisors, financial advisor firms and insurance companies become recognized leaders in the IRA marketplace.

Mr. Slott is the author of Ed Slott’s Retirement Decisions Guide: 2016 Edition (IRAHelp, 2016), Fund Your Future: A Tax-Smart Savings Plan in Your 20s and 30s (IRAHelp, 2013), The Retirement Savings Time Bomb… and How to Defuse It (Penguin, 2012 Edition), Stay Rich for Life! He is a past Chairman of the New York State Society of CPAs Estate Planning Committee and editor of the IRA planning section of the CPA Journal. Mr. Slott is the recipient of the prestigious Excellence in Estate Planning and Outstanding Service awards presented by The Foundation for Accounting Education. He is a former Board Member of The Estate Planning Council of New York City and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) distinguished.
