Beverly DeVeny

Beverly DeVeny is an IRA distribution expert and IRA Technical Analyst with Ed Slott and Company. She is a technical editor of Ed Slott's IRA Advisor, a monthly IRA newsletter and was a technical editor of Ed Slott's books, The Retirement Savings Time Bomb and How to Defuse It (Penguin, 2012), Your Complete Retirement Planning Road Map (Ballantine Books, 2007),  and Parlay Your IRA Into a Family Fortune (Viking, 2005). Beverly has co-authored articles in Retirement Planning Magazine and the Boston Business Journal, and has addressed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Retirement Conference, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Bankers Association, Financial Management and Trust Division, AIG Advisors Commitment to Education Conference and OppenheimerFunds. She was formerly a Retirement Plans Specialist with The Private Bank at Bank of America.

Jeffrey Levine

Jeffrey Levine, CPA/PFS, CFP®, CWS®, MSA is Ed Slott and Company, LLC's Chief Retirement Strategist. Jeffrey's ability to simplify the complex laws that govern individual retirement accounts combined with his unique blend of humor and tax planning have made him a sought after speaker. A frequent presenter of advanced training programs, Jeffrey has helped educate thousands of Financial Advisors, CPAs, Attorneys and consumers on IRA tax and estate planning strategies. He is a presenter for national conferences, CPA continuing education programs, web-based conferences, and client seminars.

Jeffrey is the author of the Financial Advisor's Guide to Savvy IRA Planning for Baby Boomers and The Definitive Guide to Required Minimum Distributions for Baby Boomers. He is the lead creator of Savvy IRA Planning™ with Ed Slott and Company, offered through Horsesmouth, LLC, a contributing writer and editor for Ed Slott's IRA Advisor newsletter, and writes for several areas of the Ed Slott and Company website, Jeffrey is a contributor to various industry publications and can regularly be seen promoting retirement and tax education on television stations such as CNBC, Fox Business News, CBS and Public Television. Sarah Brenner

Sarah Brenner is an IRA Analyst with Ed Slott and Company. She has worked for twenty years helping clients solve complex technical IRA questions. She has been a contributing writer for many IRA texts, articles and training manuals and has been quoted in national financial and tax publications such as CCH IRA Guide.

She is an experienced speaker who has educated thousands of professionals in the financial industry including attorneys, CPAs, bankers, financial advisors, and brokers on retirement plan rules. Sarah has won praise for her ability to communicate complex laws in an easy-to-understand way and provide practical strategies for clients.

Sarah is a graduate of Smith College and Villanova School of Law. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. She practiced law with a concentration in elder law for several years and for fifteen years was a senior consultant with PMC, Pension Management Company, an independent IRA consulting firm for financial organizations nationwide.
